this comment is first ‎· псы в рапиде
this is second comment ‎· псы в рапиде
^^ this comment points to the first ‎· псы в рапиде
^ and this one points to the third (or this ↑↑ to the one before it) ‎· псы в рапиде
^^^^ this one to the first? ‎· virus
^ so this to the last? ‎· inconsolabilmente Lucretia
this is so cool! ‎· inconsolabilmente Lucretia
Yeah, very useful but what if someone else writes a comment while you're writing yours? ‎· virus
@virus: unfortunately, this feature is quite fuzzy. It also breaks if someone deletes the comment between yours and the one you're pointing to. Also it breaks if there are comments by users you've banned. However, it works in practice. ‎· псы в рапиде
^ if I edit a comment to add or remove a caret, does that work? ETA: yes, it works! ‎· LibSkrat
@virus: but you can still edit a comment. this is just a helpful hint for a convention that is popular in russian frf ‎· IDDD
@mudak: you're right. @squadette I think it's an interesting and useful option. Thank you for your work. ‎· virus
this is delightful. ‎· Meg Vmeg
thanks mate. it is only for desktop, or it's supposed to work on mobile too ? ‎· kc
^ just tap on carets (won't work if a thread is folded) ‎· IDDD
@squadette: is there any way that using mention and ^^ in the same comment will work for both link? I think at the moment only the mention is properly working ‎· Brixie
@brixie: I'm afraid I don't really understand what you mean exactly. Do you want the @mention to work the same way as carets for this particular case? ‎· псы в рапиде
@squadette no, I was just realizing that when using carets and mention in the same comment, only the mention worked, the carets were ignored. While now it seems to work perfectly fine ‎· Brixie
