Crossed a river with tiny people floating in it today. Looked like a very relaxing mode of transportation.

Observation made from Navajo Bridge near Marble Canyon.
Marble Canyon is the only home of the endangered cactus Pediocactus bradyi.
Did you see one?
Is it close to the Blue John Canyon where a man fell and chopped his arm off to rescue himself from a boulder crushed him against the wall? If so...
you found a colony of borrowers! i wonder what they're borrowing from the canyon

: We just made a short, spontaneous photo stop. Sage was about the only flora I noticed :)
: ~350 miles away, which is fairly close in these parts. This river, Colorado, runs past arm-gnawing land :)
This is a stunning view of a very beautiful place. I've fallen in love with this image. :) This is a definite 'Fav.'
that's like ~550 km, right? Then not that close I guess ahaha. One of my biggest dreams is to visit USA for its canyons one day. They seem really divine from here. A place where you can defy the nature -and of course maybe got your arm chopped off by it. :)
: I see so many beautiful things in Color country ++. Very different from home :)
: A four hour drive. We'll cover that before lunch :)
: Back in the old world now. A couple of smaller trips planned for the rest of the summer, but we'll mostly just enjoy the Norwegian summer :)
