Any recommendations for natural anti-anxiety treatments? I find I'm really wound up these days. While some of it I'll point to over-caffeination and disturbed sleep leaving me edgy, I can't see to locate the usual level of patience I've had in the past. I'm starting to exercise again so that'll be helpful. Generally, I'd like to be able to let things that shouldn't bother me...not bother me.
I've actually really liked the 'breathing' part of the fitbit charge I have. Even just taking a couple of minutes to deliberately relax and breathe has made a big difference in my overall day (as long as I remember to do that every few hours.)· Jennifer D.
I don't know about anxiety, but the following are generally calming as teas (alone or in combo): chamomile, lavender, lemon balm. Kava has good test results, but also might cause liver problems in high amounts so probably stay away from it if you've got personal/family history of liver issues.· Kirsten 1
Yeah, I'm not sure it's anxiety exactly. I would like to keep a more even calmness during the day.· Hey, it's CAJ!
My mom has found that yoga is key for her, she and I both take a combination of gaba and l-theanine. I take Rescue Remedy when things get intense, or rub some lavender oil under my nose. Or both.· lris 1

Thanks, all. My first step is going to be reducing my coffee intake. I've been slowly increasing up to four cups a day plus sodas, etc. Having some relaxing tea for nighttime would be good as well.· Hey, it's CAJ! 3
Oh, and maybe I'll learn to just breath for a bit before reacting to things. Calm thoughts lead to calm action? :)· Hey, it's CAJ! 3
Also, something that I keep forgetting related to work stuff. I get paid by the hour. There's never a need to rush. :D· Hey, it's CAJ! 1
