I love my mechanical pencil. I do. (It's a .05 Uni Kuru Toga that has a mechanism that rotates the lead whenever you pick the pencil up while writing.) However, I'll never get used to that wasted bit of lead at the end that doesn't advance forward anymore or just falls out if another lead follows it. The troubles in my life are odd.
However, yay for a shipment of Kuru Toga Pencil Leads. Also fancy, they have a softer outer layer and a harder core that help take advantage of the rotating mechanism. ‎- Hey, it's CAJ!
"A spring-loaded clutch twists the lead incrementally every time you lift the pencil from the paper. This allows a uniform wearing of the lead to create a conical tip shape that provides a fine, consistent line." #oohsexy ... now I must have one. For some reason, I like journaling with a pencil rather than a pen. But a *good* pencil. ‎- MoTO Babycakes
Thanks. The price is a bit hefty though. I'd have to hide it from Wife and Waif. ‎- MoTO Babycakes
I got around thievery by getting one for my wife as well. :D ‎- Hey, it's CAJ!
