Well. I guess it is time to stock up on sporting goods.
Since they are going out of business, I went to Sports Authority today. (Hmm... I wonder what will happen to their naming rights deal on the stadium in Denver...) On sale, I got running shoes (Under Armour) and various pieces of clothing for the purpose of exercise. Tomorrow shall be the first day of the rest of my life no longer being a ginormous fat piece of deep-fried lard. (It is raining today, and I did not do the best job with eating in order to have the proper balance of energy.) ‎· Julian
Where I slightly overpaid on the shoes (compared to what I just saw on Amazon), I did OK with shirts. ‎· Julian
Way to go with the bargains and the exercise! :D ‎· Have Yourself a Merry Little LB
I was a little disappointed w/their sale when I went the other day since most of the good stuff was only 10% off. Apparently the percentage off will go up every 2 weeks or so. Did pick up shoes for the kids though but one already had a much lower for sale price going on which superseded the going out of business cut. However, if you're a tennis player, they had some really steep discounts on racquets. ‎· ronin
I've found that once they hand over to liquidators the prices aren't as good as the original sales ‎· Christina Pikas
Yeah I've heard that as well. ‎· ronin
