We were over by the bay at sunset when a mother and daughter (I assume that was the relationship) volunteered to take a family picture. The mom got our digital point and shoot, the daughter got my phone (Nexus 5x). The pictures from the phone were much better. There was no comparison. Even before I tweaked the phone pics via the Snapseed app.

And if you told me I would live to see such a time, I would have laughed in your face. ‎- Jim: Lose Cannon
I'm watching a stream of pictures from this past week at the beach on a TV via chromecast. I can tell that they're not taken with a thousand dollar plus camera, but I don't really care. How long before there is no real difference? ‎- Jim: Lose Cannon
