Golden Eagle to 2nd Capercaillie: Well I really was gonna let you live but since you insist, I guess I can save you for dinner. =p
Is that typical behaviour or hunger? Seems a risky move as the last thing a predator wants is an injury, that bird had it's beak dug into the eagles wing at one point.
In my experience, raptors don't think too much about potential downsides when they're hungry and have prey in front of them.
