"Have you ever travelled on 'Lättähattu' railcars or diesel railcars called 'Porkkana'? From which country was the first steam-powered excavator acquired in 1912? What did a train dispatcher do? What were Finland's first railway stations like and where were they built? The answers to these questions can be found at the exposition put together by the Finnish Railway Museum taking us on a photo journey through VR's 150 year history. The expo is open at Helsinki Central Station at the hall at the entrance from Eliel Square. Old advertisement posters are posted at the station and a miniature railway has been built at the ticket office."
